Square Elephant Productions is currently casting real people for a new branded film campaign exploring the personal experiences behind wearing wigs and hair systems.
We are looking for people who are comfortable speaking openly and honestly about their journey, whether connected to alopecia, hair loss, confidence, identity, performance, self-expression or everyday life.
This is not a traditional acting role. We want to hear from real people with real experiences, in their own words.
For many people, wearing a wig or hair system is about far more than appearance. It can be part of rebuilding confidence, expressing identity, feeling comfortable in social situations or simply being able to move through daily life without worry. These stories are rarely represented honestly, and we believe it is important to create space for people to talk about them without embarrassment or stigma.
We are particularly interested in hearing from:
- People living with alopecia or other forms of hair loss
- Men who wear hair systems or hair replacements
- Dancers, performers or people with active lifestyles
- Drag performers and creatives who use wigs as part of their identity or performance
- People who wear wigs for confidence, fashion or self-expression
- Hair and wig professionals with personal experience of these products
The campaign will be filmed in a sensitive, positive and visually beautiful way. Contributors will be supported throughout the process and will only be asked to share what they feel comfortable discussing.
Age range: 18–35
Filming dates: 4–6 September 2026
Location: London
Commitment: One filming day
Role: Paid
No acting experience is required.
